When researching a bayonet Janzen's Notebook is the one I reach for. His layout by country and era is extremely easy to use. Line drawings and simple text accompany each bayonet included. Jerry has also indexed his entries to cross over into Kiesling and Hardin numbers. A wonderful book on bayonets and one of the few still in print. A must have for  any bayonet collectors.

Just out, this book is now out of print and the publisher is also out of stock. The remaining few left in inventories at book sellers are all that are left of one of the most useful book on bayonets published. If you were ever thinking about purchasing one, now is the time!!
