Couteaux de Combat (second edition) is the first book I go for when I am trying to ID and knife from European military decent. This book is full of photos and descriptions of military knives from France, Great Britain, Germany, United States, Italy, Argentine, Austria - Hungary, Belgium, etc, etc, etc. Fontvielle has combined various countries into the last chapter which culminates with many former unknown to me knives. An extremely helpful book and used as a constant reference by me.
